🌳 Our “Best Tree in Chatham Kent” Contest is back!🌳

Do you have a favourite tree in Chatham-Kent? One that brings back a special memory, marks an important moment, or simply makes you smile whenever you see it?

NatureCK wants to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and significance of trees in our community and the connections people have with them.

Whether your favourite tree is remarkable for its size, age, or beauty, or meaningful because of its history, memories, or personal connection, we would love to hear your Tree Story.

Perhaps it is a tree you climbed as a child, one planted by a loved one, a landmark in your neighbourhood, or simply a tree you admire through the seasons. Whatever the reason, we would love to hear your story.

Every tree has a story, and together these stories help tell the story of Chatham-Kent. 🌳

📸 How to Nominate a Tree

To enter, email your nomination to NatureCK

Include the following information:

1. Your Full Name

2. Phone Number

3. Email Address

4. Tree Location (must be in Chatham-Kent)

5. Why should this tree be crowned “Best Tree in Chatham-Kent 2026”? (60 words or less)

6. Do you have the property owner’s permission if the tree is on private land? (Yes / No / N/A)

7. Attach one clear photo of your Tree Nominee

🌿 Guidelines:

• Tree must be located within Chatham-Kent

• It can be on public or private land (with permission)

• Both native and non-native species are eligible

All eligible trees will be showcased “on the runway” (on our website) with your Tree Story!
